Rachel 鈥淩ae鈥� Clements is the Director of Academic Affairs Operations at the University of Central Missouri. A three-time UCM graduate, Rae has served the university in various professional and leadership roles since 2014, though her involvement on campus began as a student in 1999.

She holds a BSE in Elementary Education, MS in Educational Technology, and EdS in Human Services: Technology and Occupational Education with a focus on Student Affairs. She also holds graduate certificates in Academic Advising and Diversity Issues in Higher Education, all from UCM.

In her current role, Rae supports the operations of the Office of the Provost and works closely with faculty, staff, and university leadership to promote academic excellence and student success. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor and contributes to several grant-funded education projects.

Beyond her professional work, Rae is a passionate advocate for equity and inclusion. She serves on the UCM Staff Council and several committees. She has been the advisor for Prism, UCM鈥檚 LGBTQIA+ student organization, since 2017. Known affectionately as 鈥淢ama Rae鈥� by many of her students, she is widely recognized for her mentorship, advocacy, and commitment to community.

Rae is a U.S. Navy veteran originally from Placentia, California. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, crocheting amigurumi, and spending time with her family and pets.
