What you will study

In UCM鈥檚 Technology master鈥檚 program, you鈥檒l build both the breadth and depth of knowledge needed to succeed in technology-related organizations around the world. 

First, you鈥檒l build systems knowledge, technology management skills, technological ethics, research skills, a global mindset and organizational effectiveness through core courses. Classes that anchor the graduate program include International Technology Management, Current Issues in the Industry and Organizational Dynamics, among others.

After that, you鈥檒l complete your master鈥檚 in Technology degree by focusing your electives in one of over 10 areas of expertise. This allows you to specialize in anything from a Construction Management master鈥檚 degree to a Technology Management degree. These specializations include:

Admittance Requirements

To be accepted into this program, a student must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in his or her undergraduate major. A student not meeting this requirement may petition the department for admittance on a conditional basis. GRE or GMAT scores are not required. Applicants must submit a "Career Goal Statement" and resume including three contact references. This program also facilitates articulation to a Ph.D. in Technology Management.

 

First Destination Success Rates

These reports highlight UCM graduates six months after graduation on their First Destination Success (FDS). FDS can be defined as graduates who are actively engaged in work/educational experiences (full-time, part-time, military, volunteer/program of service, or continuing education).
