Wu holds a M.S. in Safety with a minor in Environmental Science from Marshall University, and a Ph.D. specialized in Endocrinology from Virginia Tech. He has developed several NASA-funded research projects (2011-2017) to investigate occupational health related to space environmental risk factors, and an electrical safety project recently funded by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (2019-2020). His research interests include musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and other challenges related to occupational safety and health. He has published over 45 peer-reviewed journal articles and been granted a U.S. patent (USPTO #10,398,732). Wu also holds a CSP (Certified Safety Professionals庐), and an ARMTM designation (Associate in Risk Management).
