Dr. Sadi received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Memphis (UofM) in 2016. He worked as a Research Assistant in the Electric Power and Energy Systems (EPES) Lab under the supervision of Dr. Mohd. Hasan Ali. He also received the M.Sc. degree from the same laboratory in 2013. His research interests lie in the areas of Smart Grid, Power Systems, Cyber-Physical Security, Building to Grid Integration, Renewable Energy Systems, and Energy Storage Systems. He has contributed several peer reviewed journal and conference papers in these fields. He received the Building-Grid Integration Research and Development Innovators (BIRD IP) program research grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). He also worked on different projects collaborating with different universities, national laboratories, and organizations like American Public Power Association (APPA). He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Bangladesh in 2009. He also worked as a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stamford University Bangladesh.
