WARRENSBURG, MO – Recently, the informative online nursing platform, ranked the ŷƵ eighth on its list of 25 Most Affordable
Online RN to BSN Programs for 2021. According to the article, students looking for
an affordable, accessible and strong academic nursing program can be comfortable at
the award-winning UCM program.
Top RN to BSN, on a mission to supply nursing students with the necessary information
to excel in their academic pursuits, lists the university in the top 10 most affordable
online RN to BSN programs, making UCM the highest-ranking school in the state. The
methodology for this ranking included comparing accredited programs across the United
States by their cost, reputation and course offerings. The data used to conduct the
ranking was derived from the College Scorecard, College Navigator, and the Integrated
Postsecondary Education Data System.
While UCM offers financial aid to 94% of its student body and is an affordable option,
the quality of university programs are also worth celebrating. The Online RN to BSN
program offers nursing students a flexible, digital learning environment flourishing
with career opportunities. Students can expect a program that will keep them engaged
while learning about essential and advanced nursing topics, including concepts related
to wellness and pathophysiology.
Among requirements, prospective students must have an Associate of Science in Nursing,
completion of general education and nursing prerequisite courses, a cumulative grade
point average of at least 2.50 and a nursing license before being admitted to the
program.
The ranking comes at a time of much renown and stature for UCM’s online RN to BSN
program. This past year, the program was recognized by other academic review institutions
such as Intelligent.com and Princeton Review. Despite online learning being at an
all-time competitive high, the online RN to BSN program at UCM has consistently been
among the best in the state and nation.
