WARRENSBURG, MO - 欧美视频 Theatre and Dance is pleased to announce
the availability of at 2022-2023 season tickets through Oct. 8. The theme for this
season is HERstory, with UCM Theatre and Dance proudly presenting productions that
celebrate women, their experiences, and their stories.
Season tickets include four mainstage productions and the dance concert for one low
price of $80 for the general public; $60 for faculty, staff, senior citizens, and
military; and $40 for students. These prices include five shows for the price of four.

visit . The plays 鈥淪top Kiss鈥 and 鈥淩emember the Dance鈥 will be performed at the Nickerson
Black Box Theatre and all other productions will be presented in the newly renovated
Highlander Theatre, both venues on campus.
The 2022-2023 season opens in the Nickerson Blackbox with 鈥淪top Kiss,鈥 directed by
Dr. Aaron Scully. It will be presented Oct. 6-9. In this iconic play, the audience
follows a story of true love between two young women in New York City and the dangers
and hardships they face. This production is for mature audiences only.
Next up is 鈥淭he Prom鈥 to be presented in Highlander Theatre Nov.11-19. This is a musical
by Bob Martin and Chad Begulin. In the play, two Broadway stars, Barry and DeeDee,
along with some of their interesting friends, make their way to Indiana to help a
young student attend the prom with her girlfriend, where they also learn about themselves
and become better people while making a difference in a small community. The 鈥淧rom鈥
is directed by faculty member Ashley Miller-Scully, choreographed by Allison Duncan,
and with musical direction by Daniel Doss.
To open the HERstory season in spring 2023, UCM Theatre and Dance will offer 鈥淓urydice
鈥渂y Sarah Ruhl, and directed by Jenise Cook. It runs Feb. 23-26. 鈥淓urydice鈥 is based
on the popular and tragic Greek myth told from the perspective of Eurydice and her
journey to the Underworld and what it means to love. Ruhl鈥檚 poetic and enduring play
is sure to be moving for all who experience it.
The next play, running April 6-9, is 鈥淟ittle Women the Musical鈥 by Mindi Dickstein
and Jason Howland. 鈥淟ittle Women the Musical鈥 will be directed by Kristen Henning
and musically directed by Daniel Doss. The hit musical based on the classic novel
by Allen Knee is about the four March sisters who live out their lives and find love
while their father is away from home. It is a touching and honest story that will
bring joy and laughter to the whole family.
Presented April 20-23, and closing out the HERstory season, is the annual dance concert,
this time written as a 鈥渄ance-play鈥 by Dr. Aaron Scully. Titled 鈥淩emember the Dance,鈥
this play is co-directed by Ashley Miller-Scully and Scully. This production weaves
scenes and dance numbers together to tell the hopeful and moving tale of a woman as
she grapples with losing her memory while attempting to fulfill a promise she made
as a young dancer.

For those who may not be interested in season tickets but want to see the show for
an even lower price, UCM Theatre and Dance provides a Pay-What-You-Can option (minimum
$1) for every Sunday matinee for each show. These tickets may be purchased at the
box office or online. Online tickets include a service/handling fee.
Additionally, anyone who wants to support UCM Theatre and Dance through a donation
is encouraged to become a UCM Theatre and Dance Foundation member. Foundation member
benefits can include a tax-deduction, season tickets and the donor鈥檚 name in every
