'UCM Inclusivity Day' Oct. 10 Coincides with Worldwide Observance Celebrating Differences

Coinciding with 鈥淲orld Inclusion Day鈥 on Monday, Oct. 10, the 欧美视频 is hosting its own festivities thanks to a Student Government Association (SGA) referendum that was approved this semester by University President Roger Best. The first 鈥淯CM Inclusivity Day,鈥 sponsored by the SGA, is planned for noon to 3 p.m. Monday at the quadrangle.

CASE District VI 'Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in Advancement Work' Panel Includes Input from UCM President, Coordination from Staff

In an effort to further understanding of the value of making individuals feel welcome, valued and included in higher education, 欧美视频 President Roger Best recently participated in a panel discussion on 鈥淒iversity, Equity Inclusion and Belonging in Advancement Work.鈥 The panel, which also featured Dr. Susan B. Wilson, retired vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and UCM alumna Jessica Ramirez, 鈥99, vice president of advancement at Cleveland University-Kansas City, took place on June 23 at UMKC.
